Nobody's quite sure exactly what neighborhood Longhorn Ballroom is in — somewhere between Design District and Bishop Arts, which tells you everything about Dallas. A Dallas landmark with its own museum in the building. Elvis, the Sex Pistols, Stevie Ray Vaughan — they've all played here. Now reincarnated as a modern venue with 4,000-capacity, the best of both worlds: historic Texas music hall with regional acts seven nights a week. Don't bring a nice car — you're parking on gravel.
