The Barley House

Barley House is what East Dallas looks like when it decides to have a night out — neighborhood regulars, a beer selection that actually thinks about what people want to drink, and local bands on weekends that bring the kind of crowd that shows up to listen, not to be seen. The food is better than it needs to be and the service is better than most bars in the neighborhood. SMU Boulevard dive-bar institution with a patio that sees more live music than most venues twice its size.
