A Dallas institution since your grandparents were around — this building has seen it all, from the golden age of movie palaces to a cinema in the '80s that was like an Alamo Drafthouse before there was an Alamo Drafthouse. Now it hosts local and regional acts seven nights a week, everything from Americana to punk rock, with the occasional national act. Next door is Sundown at Granada for an even more intimate show, and next door to that is Snuffers — home to the original cheese fries. You haven't had cheese fries until you've had Snuffers.
